2010-05-26 On 21th of May, in Gdansk the next congress of World Council of Amber has taken place.

During solemn ceremony, Anastasia Zhuravleva, daughter of untimely deceased from us Alexander Zhuravlev, has handed over to the mayor of Gdansk to Pavel Adamovich this gift.

The amber Cross symbolises unity of the Russian and Polish people shaken by the terrible air crash near Smolensk, the carried away life of president Lech Kaczynski and many representatives of political and cultural elite of Poland.

A gift was warmly welcomed by the Polish side and will be referred to the collection of the Museum of Amber in Gdansk.
